another reason to buy a evo

i dont know if this is a repost, but mistsubishi is offering free gas for a year if you buy one of their cars. Pretty good deal if you live where i live and gas is frequently over 3.00 bux a gallon..

there has to be some kind of catch... what if you drive 30,000 miles in one year - would they still pay over $3.00 a gallon then?

you could just get a car that gets better mpg and is cheaper in the first place and save even more. like the new si for example. even though the evo is much more of a beast than the si.

Yeah it's really not that good of a deal. Its about 1500.00 off. Better then a stick in the eye I guess, but it sounds better then it really is. The evo also uses premium gas, good luck finding that at 2.95 a gallon. Not to mention that if gas prices do miraculously fall then it's even less of a deal.

Customers will have the ability to choose one eligible Gas Company for their gasoline card with the purchase or lease of any new 2005 vehicle or a new 2006 Raider, Galant, or Endeavor.

Great so now if you want to fill up you can't just goto any gas station you have to find the one you selected. Seems kinda inconvenient as well. Plus what if you don't like any of the eligible gas companies then what?

Premium gas here is like 2.15 a gallon. Regular is about 2.07 now. So here it wouldnt be that bad of a deal. If you finance your car for 5 years that 1500 will save you about 25 bucks a month.

and i think i saw that it's only for the average mile drive per year. so it's only for 12,000 miles. if you go over that, you won't get it.

I really wish it would drop out here. On base I'm paying 2.80 a gallon for 90 octane. And being that I'm smack dab in the middle of Europe I like to go places in the car.
