Someone said this earlier.. but look into the Legacy GT, it is a little faster than a WRX and luxurious as an IS. They are releasing a Spec-B model soon, I think that one just has more suspension mods though.

youd rather be seen in a lexus than that?
just get the lexus mike, you had your mind set on it and you should choose not us. you already opted for that so stick with it, either cars good imo..

forget about those cars if u want luxury go to evolutionimports.com and go to the used car section and peep the toyota gs(its 28,000 grand i think) It is the japanease lexus gs that comes with dvdnavigation leather and twinturbo supra motor from the factory. It says for an extra $8,000 they can make it over 500whp. Thats the best of both worlds. Luxury with alot of hp. Or get the lexus and swap the supra motor in it. I saw an article in superstreet where this guy took an 02 swapped the supra motor in it twin turbo with all the goodies and was pushing over 700 hp. He even beat an r6 streetbike on the highway.

That being said, if you are a poser or going more for looks than performance, go for the IS. It will be expensive and hard to mod and it could never keep up even with a stock wrx (06). Not to mention that subaru has the biggest, most supportive forum (www.nasioc.com) For me, it's all about performance so it would be an easy choice.
^^ Oops.. I was referring to the 05 WRX, where the Legacy GT is a tad faster. Not too sure about the 06 though... should be quicker.. dynos have been done and I've seen one putting down 185hp and 204lb/ft throughout the powerband. I saw another doing 195hp and 214lb/ft as well. Back on topic, the person looking for purchase of a car is not a poser. How would he be one? Form follows function with both cars he is looking at.
WRX:
Turbo, AWD, Sport Suspension and Brakes
- Ride is smooth until you hit some bumps, but this car can corner and rocket out of them at a good speed
IS250: Not too sure on specs but..
- Lexus ride, high class interior, sporty handling and brake, moderate power.
WRX is strickly performance in my opinion and if you are looking for a luxury, do not get a WRX. Whatever car you want is your choice, we can only give you our opinion.
