Another one leaving...
Well, I decided that when I graduate (May 25), I am going to pick up my RSX Type S. I have been debating it, and then my parents told me for Graduation that they will pay 150 a month for the car. Just thought I would let everyone know.
Congrats on graduating dude! And have fun with your new rsx....that is a sweet car!! As far as Mister "you can get a wrx.." goes, go with what you like! I suspect you put a lot of thought into what car you wanted, and seeing as that everyone and their sister wants to buy that turbo 4-wheel drive (that happens to be ugly as hell) rally car, I'm sure you considered it too. If the rsx is the verdict, then congrats....you can't go wrong with it!

<< oh man, you can totally get a WRX for that price! common now >>
i gotta agree with Joe on this one. there's a whole crapload of stuff you can do to the WRX as of right now
yea, type s is sweet, but id rather be tearin up shiiiit in a WRX thats got more aftermarket opps. not to mension, more practical by size and drivetrain. but thats my thoughts, congrats tho!!!
<< just get an integra Type R... >>
why buy a used integra type R when the rsx type S has first of all, 10 more hp, i-VTEC, and its new....besides the type R is crazy hard to find. if he likes the rsx type S thats cool...we should support him it is a bad *** car. and as for the WRX...yes it has more hp and torque and 4wd. but i believe that acura/honda engines to be better, and if he wants to throw a turbo on it later it will have more power than the wrx. let us know how you like the acura.

the ITR has 195Hp and the the RSX-S has 200. That makes it a 5 Hp difference math wizzard. On top of that the ITR has better gearing, is lighter, has a MUCH stiffer chasis, has a LOT more aftermarket parts available, a better suspension, and more exclusivity. Not to mention the fact that an ITR will also run circles around an RSX-S as well as beating it from 0-60 and in the 1/4... all the while costing as much or less then the RSX-S. THATS why.
then again i say WRX still ownz all of the above for daily driving and tunability.

Oh yea, i also for to rag on you for saying this: "why buy a used integra type R when the rsx type S has ... i-VTEC, and its new.... and as for the WRX...yes it has more hp and torque and 4wd. but i believe that acura/honda engines to be better, and if he wants to throw a turbo on it later it will have more power than the wrx."
A) thats a retarded statement
B) newer doesnt mean better
C) ... im going to get a seizure from contemplating on how anyone could have made that statement.
D) the WRX ALREADY has a turbo. while your spending 3K+ dollars strapping one on that RSX, the WRX owner is spending 800 bucks, boosting the turbo thats ALREADY THERE, and is making more power then a stock internaled RSX engine can produce under boost.

Sometimes i wonder if he hates being smart.
He is right about the Type R... but I'm gonna tell you to not get it so I can get it because that's the car I want and you'd be making it harder for me to get. (Don't do it man... )
But go with what you know will suit you. The Type S ain't a bad car and we all know that. If it's a "new" car you want, I'm behind you on your decision for the Type S.
And sh't, the 2001 Type R still costs more than the 2002 Type S anyways...
