how many miles to floor ur car?

after how many miles can you have to floor your car and bring it to 6750 rpm. i did it at 800 miles, i want to know if this is safe.

800 miles is plenty [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] Break-in is 600 miles.

the break in period is over at 600 miles, you should be fine

I floored it at 27 miles. When I bought it, the salesman said "Don't worry about the break in period, it's all good". Soon as I got on the highway I floored it to 100mph.

proper break-in period is 1k miles and not to go over 70mph or 6500 rpm.... you'll be suprised at what an engine can do if it's broken in properly [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
