Lol o I already know this car will put out some mean power. I trust him I'm just wondering if theres anything I SHOULD look for ya know? I already told him I'm going to hook him up with some boost so he can put it in the Civic if I buy it he said ok..God I love the way boost sounds
well have a shop check the front end (ball joints and tie rods) and have them look at the tires (a tip for you, put a penny upside down into the tread of the tire, if you see the top of his head you need new tires, that is about 1/16th of an inch) then have them check all fluids and test drive it to listen for noises from the drivetrain or suspension then turn on and use all electronic devices making sure they work properly, open and close anything that can open and close to make sure they do that okay (nothing gets stuck or brakes) a shop can also put it on a lift and if they have someone who does body work and is actually knowledgeable (not just a monkey who replaces fenders and lights) that person can tell you if its been in an accident before and if anything needs to be fixed or if the car is bent.
other than these things pretty much it comes down to cosmetics and price for ya. oh yeah, have them check brakes and stuff

Exactly what I was thinking. A 1.6L engine is probably something outside of the US or an older car.
Could you find out the year and trim level? How many miles/km? We need to know some basics about it before we could point you in the right direction.

now onto the statement about wanting to look nice and sound nice. wtf? you don't want to be "dealing alot of money into [it]," yet you want your car to look and sound nice. looks probably = body kit or something. sound probably = exhaust, intake, header, gh3y whistle thing you stick in your exhaust to sound like you're turboed, etc. i don't understand you.
LOL you sound like you know alot and you probally do at least more then me yea I dont wana dish alot of money into it and you pretty much hit it right on all I want is a drop body, exhaust, and a fake turbo probally (doubt the fake turbo because I dont like to run fake things and be a wana be ya know?) and thats pretty much it. The exhuast will cost around 100$ something the drop body 300$ something and dunno bought intake, and the fake turbo if I get it is like 35$ on ebay. I mean thats all the money I want to put into it Civics always have ran good and always will and I've always liked them not to many people have them around here.I used to have an eclipse and thats why I dont really want it..Yea I speed but I dont want a car that'll go that dang fast because I will make it go that fast and either A I'll be pulled over or B I'll wreck and god knows what will happen. and what all do you know about lighting? what do you mean by you know about lighting? I know a little i hooked my friends undercar kit up thats it lol

somebody needs to stop skipping their english class.
and you need a reality check, buddy. exhaust will cost $100? are we talking about just the muffler or the entire cat-back exhaust? the cat-back will set you back around $500... a proper suspension will cost upwards of $1000. and the body kit will be around the same as suspension (if you get it done properly). modding cars is not cheap.

where are you going to find a civic for $2500, let alone a 900cc bike for $2000? i just dont even know what to say. Actually, yeah I do....keep the jeep. We don't need another 16 year old racing around with a huge muffler and a fake BOV whistle. There's already plenty of them out there.
