Rep Power: 305 HAS SUPERMEX 2K1 GONE WILD?
After working on my car for more than two months it no longer qualifies as mild. On recent 2k1 meeting in Orlando Florida, took 3rd place in the Wild Division. Tough accomplishment. Cars I was competing against were truly wild.
And by the way we registered as 2k1civic.com club (all 8 of us). It was sweet. I hope Derek doesn't mind. Here are new pictures of my car.

Rep Power: 305 That's OK when you have a car like mine I spect some slack from the loosers I'm, kindda inmune to the $$hit
I burned a 2000 SI yesterday (SIthis)
We had a great meet and participated as a team.
I'm just very fortunate to live in the best car community in Florida.
My car is a product of very talented artist, mechanics, body and auto repair and our local clubs have the sponsorship of the community.
I just go out and represent.
East Coast Kissimmee Florida.
Autofashion, All Pro Collitions, Interiors by Fernando, and all my peeps at Road Runner Mufflers and yours thrully.
I have a good job and I love cars.
And of course 2k1Civic.com that served as a communication and information tool I found half of the parts I was looking for in this site.
Good job Derek and Associates

Rep Power: 0 that's a sweet car. i think i want the z3 fenders, but i'm pretty sure i'd have to get them custom painted and i know i couldn't install them myself. but it would be a nice little accent to the car. btw, is that metallic tint on the windows? it looks pretty sweet, what are the numbers, like 35% or what?
p.s. i agree with crackrock and dakker, joe is a really good guy.

Rep Power: 0 Supermex, good job on all the mods on the civic that you posses! I do autobody as a profession and i know how much time and effort that a project like that takes! But i feel that being moded out must appeal to the eye as well as the dollar amount in which you spent! What i am saying is that it just doesn't look right together! I have been looking at your car and i feel that the custom stripes or bird mural on the fenders doesnt flow well with the rest of the car!! that would have looked better on a car with a different color! When judges look at your car they are looking for fitment and design functionability and most of all flow! Things need to be crisp and appealing to the eye! For instance since the color stands out enough , maybe you shoulda went a little more subtle with the accents on the body (the bird)! If i were a judge i would rate you lower because the car looks like its just been thrown together, as in no fluid motion! Olympic ice skaters are judged on fluid motion as well as performance and difficulty! So I do appreciate the time and $ and effort , i just dont feel that it is a gorgeous car! but then again i am westcoast! Just my thoughts! Dakota

Rep Power: 0 actually, I was looking at the wrong picts! And i am assuming that the 2k1 on the side is a photochop! Well the car looks alot better without the bird ! but i think that the black projector would have went good with the cf hood! Rep Power: 395 So that's whose ride that was. I saw it in a previos thread. I love what you did with the projectors. You must have buffed that inca pearl good 'cause the color looks really nice now. Deep! I'm not sure what you did with the carbon fiber hood on the sides? What is that? Paint? Why was the car up on stands like that with no radiator and no doors? Having a good place to go to for mods must be great. I envy you. I have to do all this stuff myself. I wish I could have done the repair myself when I got into my accident. I don't own a shop though, so...

Rep Power: 305 I was not fan of them ether but this is grade A super shined and till I saw it in person I knew I wanted we still put 2 coats of clear in it.
Just like a mirror.
Pimpdakota I appreciate the input, the good and the critical too.
I grew up on the west coast, East LA .
The birth place of the hole Custom/low rider movement.
All my uncles, brothers and sisters drove a tricked out car.
I was driving at 14 years of age on my first car 68 Chevy Impala SS that my dad left me when he died.
Two things I learn about my west coast experience with cars.
Don't take it too serious is all fun stuff.
I checked your ride and is just wheels and bolt on parts never the less it looks good ,I like.
You've mention that you do body work,
How come you have not do some real work in your car?
I'm Structural engineer and I do my own body work at my friends shop. We think we do good work and we like it.
That's important to us and next month we may just change the car all over again or, do the same graphics, after all it got me 3 best of show throphies.

Rep Power: 0 I havent done any body work to my car because i cant afford for it to be not running or in bondo or primer! I also have 2 other projects going like a frame off 59 impala and a 68 shelby cobra! The cobra is my father in laws! I originally bought my car for a A to B parts getter and all around transportation! I guess i could go wild with my car , but i dont have much free time! I do mostly collision work since thats where the money is! But your car looks like mostly bolt on and paint work! Nothing too special to me! I would never cut appart the body of a car that i woudnt keep forever! But thats just me! Peace . dakota

Rep Power: 305 Yeah,, I remember how are you?
Did you get 1st price import stock? A 2k1 did
I got second mild all asian ( Honda Toyota, KIA etc.)
You need to come to Daytona Spring Brake Nationals for the next meet, it will be a party.
Then I'll post girly shot of coeds going wild on the back sit of my car.
I'll spray them with Armor all and have them roll naked all over my leather sits
But seriously I started working on some moods on my other car.
Is a 6 mo. project it will shock you.
Hope to see ya
