I did a search on hp gains when adding aftermakredt parts such as a cold air intake, exhaust, and headers. and lots of ppl say that there's not much of a substantial differnce in hp gain when adding those afeermarket parts i found that the only way to get a whole **** load of hp gain is to go supercharger or NOS. so my question is why do people put Cold Air INtake, Exhaust, and Headers when it'll barely increase the performance of a civic???

Because there are no superchargers/turbo's out for our car's as of yet and most people are scared (or don't care to) of messing up their engines with NOS.

also nitrous is just a quick boost. It won't provide permenant gains. If nitrous is used the wrong way than it can really hurt the engine.
