Happy Birthday....read...

Hey all,

Got my 18th birthday coming up in two weeks and em thinking about getting something nice for my, as of now, all stock green 2001 Honda Civic Dx. I'm thinking about getting a simple/agressive body kit that isn't too expensive but I'm still pondering it. Do any of you have any suggestions about a body kit like that or would you suggest something else? Maybe performance wise or interior stuff?...I dunno. What do you guy suggest I should get to start out with?

How much too?

Thanking you all in advance.

Seeing as im the only person here that does any work to the CGP's ill be the one to say if your gonna mess with the body kit get the Kaminari...only one that dosn't look like . If you want something simple get the OEM kit.

Cheers

Kaminari rules, even though others don't like it. The hood might be a little aggressive to your style, but you could always replace it with a cheap CF one later. I like it though.

I like the hood actually. Many people say that carbon fiber looks like *** on lighter colors. They might be right. Who knows how many times I've gotten the, "Why is your hood not painted?" comment from people who don't know about carbon fiber hoods. With the kaminari you can paint almost the entire hood, but leave some of the air scoop unpainted to show off the carbon fiber. That's what I would do with that hood. The kaminari kit rocks though. I'de get it. The rear wing also comes in carbon fiber, so you might want to think about that. Then paint only part of the carbon fiber. I think that would be killer.

oem body kit is your best bet for cheap since it comes painted, and can easily be installed DIY. costs less than $800 from handa-accessories.com
