Talking Worst Rental you ever got?

I just dropped my car off for it's body work after being run off the highway a couple of weekends ago..When they took me to get my rental there were no cars of equal stature to the Civic so I got an upgrade to Premium and drove off in a 2005 Buick Allure...

It's not the worst rental I got but now I can't stop catchin the eye of every woman over 65 I pass on the streets..lol. I'm tellin ya...You know that when you can get a granny to take a hand off the walker to wave at you passin by that you my friend are a Baller...plain and simple..lol.

So what's the worst rental you ever got?

Ford Focus.... Felt like I was driving a Sponge.... and you know how I drive. then there was the Chevy Aveo.... which for being a tiny pos car, was quite a bit of fun... could get it to oversteer with a little left foot braking. Fryed the brakes on that one, but hey, its not my car.

2002 base model Jetta. If you romped on the accelerator, the car wouldn't even consider speeding up.

i don't know about worst rental cars, but when my dad was choosing a new lexus to buy, he came home every other day with a different '03 model (brand new) lexus. the nicest one by far was the es330. the steering input was so cool cause at lower speeds the ratios decreased or something, so when you moved the wheel, lets say, 10 degrees, the car would make a complete u-turn. at speed, however, if you moved the wheel 10 degrees, the car would just move over a little bit.

maybe i'm just crazy

Its a tie between a Hyundai Accent and a Toyota Echo. Both gutless, although I'd say the Echo was worse with the stupid centre mounted guage cluster.

Just got back from a week in Phoenix and Las Vegas and had a 2005 V6 Mustang as a rental. Was pretty happy with its power (although the build quality left something to be desired). The gas mileage wasn't so good either, but then again I was giving it most of the time.

I've been working at Hertz for about 3 weeks now, and can say that car is not a pleasure. Hopefully that car doesn't have over 17k kms on it .. as there appears to be a slight issue with the front left axle/rod. I've returned two cars already to maintenance due to that issue - which have been flat-bedded back to a dealership.

Worst car I drove was a Kia Spectra .. power nothing and its alignment was shot to hell to boot. Hell I drove a butt ugly yellow four-door Focus and I'd rather be in it than the Spectra. Or the gawd ugly Taurus Wagon.

Though I'd say the best car I driven thus far in the job is the Lincoln LS. Luxury + power = fun Well at least its fun to have your *** being cooled and bombing down the highway - didn't even feel like it was 180 km/hr.

i was having the srs module replaced on the vic a couple of months ago, and they gave me a 04 pontiac sunfire coupe. it was red. the handling was that of an elephant and the power sucked so much *** that it got some saliva out the rectum. i liked the paint job, thats about it. and the gas mileage sucked. my only rent a car and i hated it compared to the vic. and the funny part was i opened the glove compartment and found a pic of 2 chicks with a 6th gen civic. POS. and my vic is a 01 and i still consider it superior

ITS GONNA HAVE NO TREAD LEFT ON THE TIRES WHEN IM DONE. yeah they upgraded us to a f**king FORD TAURUS! im like DAD GIVE ME THE KEYS IM GONNA GO KICK THERE *** and STEAL that SRT4. by that time everybody in the place was staring at me so i just walked out and we had to drive a TAURUS all week IN FLORIDA! the whole time im taking pictures of Porsche Carrera type S's and Ferrari's. it was so embarrassing.

The only rental car I had wasa 2005 Mazda 6 5-door for two weeks and it was pretty good car. I got it with 116 miles and drove around 3,000 miles with it and it felt pretty good. It was a 4-cyl model with 4-spd sport shift. The engine felt nice above 3000 rpm, althought i didn't like the sport shift that much due to a small lag between shifts. I feel like it could be faster, well at least I am in my 5spd civic. The highway driving was really nice, I made two 900-mile trips (Orlando, Fl to Evansville, In and Evansville, In to Houston, TX) and never got tired at all for driving. The handling was smooth although better tires could help the car handle better. It feels a bit different than the civic at first, but you get used to it and make it handle better through the Ky country roads. Fit and finish was really good, the seats were very good although I think they could've selected slightly better materials for the interiors. Overall the car is very nice and I wouldn't say Mazda makes crappy cars. I would've get one if it wasn't that I prefer other similar but more expensive competitors such as the Subaru Legacy GT and the Acura TSX. Here's a pic of the actual car I drove, which came nicely equipped with 17" wheels, spoiler and side skirts. It was parked while watching the US Navy's Blue Angels at Evansville's Freedom Festival.
Pretty Good for a Rental Car...

A Gold Hyundai Accent! The windshields on those cars are messed! Felt like it was all blurry.... every single person that got in that car with me asked me wtf was with the windshield.
The brakes on that thing was the worst... I would slam on them doing any speed and they would never lock up (no abs either!).

man I kicked the **** out of that thing
