no 2k1 is going to beat an Si without a turbo or spray...just aint gunna happen...
when my EX was totally modded, the best I could do was hang with an Si till about 65mph, then they would WALK me...3rd gear "nawws"

I'd hope my neon shoudl be able to click off a low 15 as it sits...and the shadow *should* hit a mid 14 easy....you gotta love 152 hp and 210lb/ft STOCK...hehe..lets just say that just rasing the boost to 14psi gives ya about 250 lb/ft and 200 hp

The sad fact of the matter is those "crappy" domestic cars can easily dispatch a 2k1. The "Fastest" 2k1 will be dispatched by a 14's driver. Better stick to looks for now

As for Papadakis, if you did any research at all on his car youd find that his engine is an H23A, a prelude engine (gasp! DOHC!!! )modified on a NON STOCK 2k1 Shell

There is potential with a blower or turbo...a lot more than going NA on these poopy D Blocks.

The thing im sick of is whenever they're called slow, Papadakis' is brought up. If you have the money to do the **** he did to that car, why in the hell are you driving a Civic in the first place.

JoeB16, a friend of mine has a 93 Mustang LX hatchback. It is all black with a beautiful paint job.
He has a 347 stroker motor that puts down 320hp at the wheels (all motor) and has side markers
(where the 5.0 emblems once were) that "arnt susposed to be there."

Oh, I do have a 2001 Civic EX Sedan(auto). Unfortunately, I haven' t run it at the track but I'd be happy to break into the 16's. That would be cool! :-)

You're always bashing our cars and calling them slow..
im actually not narrow minded at all. I dont mind neons and a buddy of mine as an r/t thats pretty quick. I also have a love for almost ALLLLL cars just as i had said to you in a previous message. HOWEVER i HATE reading about your neon in threads that are about 2k1 civics. Just enjoy your cars and shut your mouth about ours
