Question CIVIC 01-03 and 04-05 TAIL LIGHTS

i have a really really big question...im a noob so plese dont make fun of me, cuz im just plane stupid about cars. i just got my civic ex 2003 and i went i came across some SMOKE FILM thing...

its like a dark gray cover for the tail lights, to make ur tail lights look black.

the only problem was, it said CIVIC 04-05.

and to me, the 01-03 and 04-05 TAIL lights look the same...

are they the same dimensions and size??

please help, i would really appreaciate it.!
