Why i got an auto ex

i got an auto because the biggest performance mod i want is N2O/; many ppl dont know this but nitrous works very well wit autos cause of the smoth flow and not havin 2 release the gas. ill leave that at that and go on to my second reason; cause im lazy.
BTW; maybe posted b4 but r the head gaskets on nopi online for our car or are they just confusin ppl again, couldnt find any content on that.
will post pics of my car probaly tuesday.

I don't know... I think if both cars were evenly matched then a manual would still take an automatic with nitrous.

www.nopionline.com has the head gaskets, but I'm not sure if they're trying to confuse people or not? They don't list an engine code. Hum... That wasn't there earlier though. Maybe it really is the head gasket for our cars?

Yeah, my dad bought me an auto, I don't mind it too much but from a performance perspective it isn't the greatest thing to have. What I really wanted was a manual 99-00 si, but my dad thought newer was better, oh well, i can only work with what i got. Our auto tranny can handle quite a bit of additional hp, i think i heard up to 200 with little if no probs, so that's reassuring. Of course it will wear a lot quicker, but hey, thats life. Upgrading the tranny components is a reasonable option, level ten has a lot of auto tranny upgrades available. When u get a lemon, buy a whole bunch of crap and try to turn it into a manual 99-00 si j/k

ummm... rrright....

autos rob power, and anyone here who actually KNOWS how to drive a stick knows that you really aren't off the gas between shifts for too long, if you can drive then you know what I mean.....

too many people claim to know how to really drive a stick, but how many of you know those people that are shocked when you shift from 1st to 2nd to 5th "WHOA you can skip gears?" or shifting w/o the clutch "Thats bad for your car!"

Autos are so sweet in traffic, but unless we're talking a detroit th350 with a shiftkit and a bypass so you can bang gears, no thanks!

Yeah I got an auto cuz the traffic around here is a b*tch. I live near downtown Chicago, so I'm always stuck in traffic somewhere. Next car will most likely be manual though.
