as far as the head i understand that crower has a cam srings retainers no valves anyone know what company makes valves for the d17 and as far as the block i cant fing ne1 making rods or pistons whats the deal any help would be appriciated

i'd say search bc you can get pistons,cam,valve springs/retainers and i'm pretty sure rods also

i know about the cam and valvetrain didnt know about the rods i was in the middle of searching on the site for it thanx alot but what about the pistons all i know of are the low comp i wanna go 11.5 in my car just dreams i guess u get hated on in this site for being na i wanna shot nitrous too looking to hit 12.99 jkust to say i hit 12 or 13s would be happy even a13.99999 is cool

Well, first of all. throwing nitrous at that high of a compression ratio isnt gonna help your situation at all. What u need to do is build yur motor for low compression, somewhere around 9.1:1 or lower and just spray the holy hell outta it. Thats prolly the best way to get where you want in terms of your projected 1/4 times you gave. If your gonna rebuild your motor, id suggest boring it over a lil' bit along with some head work to acent your new displacement, but thats just my opinion.
