shifter is there for a reason, if u dont like it then dont buy it. boycott it. thats all there is too it.
some people like it. and the people that like it will buy it.
if u look at this month's sports compact car JR. is making a SC for the new Si/SiR!!!!

Theres 3 things in the way of me trading my old Si for a new one.

1. No 8000 redline. God is it great reving that high.
2. Its heavier. How the hell do you make a hatchback heavier than a coupe??
3. Supposedly its slower. .5 secs slower....

I'll find out on the test drive tho...if Im really impressed maybe you guys will see a white one in my signature..

it's gonna have a lot more torque tho, so it'll prolly drive a lot dif than ur 99... no more revs, but prolly pretty damn quick off the line... for a Civic anyways

21 whole lb ft. Big whoop.

6th gen 111 7th gen 132. It needs that extra tiny little bit to get its extra 300 or so lbs of weight moving.

I just wanna know:

1. How long until someone drops a RSX Type S engine in it?

2. How much aftermarket support will it get?

3. Who's gonna design a sick body kit for it? (Would you attach a wing?)

I'm not a big fan of it in stock form, but I think it's gonna stand out with some work. You know some fool with lots of capital is getting set to rock with this car.

1. Until someone with money and hookups like me and HTown come along
2. Ive heard aftermarket support is coming along good with it.. shouldn't be long.
3. It looks good with the Type R lip kit...Im anxious to see how the body kits will help it not look like a minivan.

Ah, how beautiful. If only I could be there... if only they were our Civics, though. (Which would've been a loong time ago but I probably can catch the newer redesign in the future.)

EVO 7 has my pick over a Civic anyday. And Honda bringing the CTR over?? I highly doubt that one boo... better wait on the RSX-R then speculate over that

Snowman the new Si has been shown 0-60 times of 7.5 while the 99-00 was 7.0 how is that faster

Also Fires its prob cuz of the compression...base RSX is 6800rpm and its the same engine...thats probably why

You have to figure tho the only Si that was a coupe was the 99-00. Every other model was a hatchback.

Truthfully Im spoiled on my B series engine and the great looks of a coupe. But I can see there trying to stick with tradition of the hatchback (even tho its evolved into a mini-minivan).
