people say my NBP coupe looks blue
after washing my NBP coupe, 2 people seperately told me that it looked blue. has anyone gotten this with theirs? it happened in the afternoon and evening when there was still light but the sun was going down (at least for one person, i cant remember how light it was when the other told me)

Rep Power: 0 I get that all the time everyone thinks its blue. I looked closely at my paint job and noticed that our color has blue metallic flakes in it that give the apperance in the sun that it is a dark blue. Its great on parking tickets cause the cop with write the color of your car as blue and I tell them i dont have a blue civic mine is black and they just throw the ticket out.

Rep Power: 0 Yes, it does look blue sometimes. That's why the color is called Nighthawk Black PEARL. Pearl paint always changes colors. *duh* [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] Looks cool though.

our cars have a blue pearl under the black.
when i got my bumper replaced and repainted the dude had to check cuz he almost gave me a red pearl underneath which would've been quite funny looking....
