Now I'm not going to say they're good or bad. People purchase their own cars and can do whatever they feel to them. It's not up to me to judge them. But I was driving the other day and I see this RX300. First thought that pops in my head is "OMG they put Altezzas on that." Then I think a little more and realize that car came with Altezzas. It's just gotten to the point where I can't look at an IS300 and admire the taillights anymore. Well I just wanted to get that off my chest.

i didn't even know what they were called. based on those pix that were posted, you won't have to worry about too many ppl having that evo kit with the huge *** fogs[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 Yah I feel ya. The first time I saw the IS300, I was like look at those taillights. I thought, it came suped up from the factory. Now I see them on Neons with dual exhaust. Oh well.

When they first came out they seemed alright but just look at the poor quality that you get from them. They all seem to leak sooner or later. I cant stand them now, everyone seems to have them.

Rep Power: 0 IS300 is nice. But they're $$$$ and the gas mileage is pretty bad. From my sig, you might think I don't care about that but for a new car, I would want decent mileage. I'd rather go with a 3 series that doesn't have as many options.

Rep Power: 0 its funny how everyone says altezzas are so played out .. if i see one car with altezzas in a day, thats a lot around here. i dont know, maybe its different other places, but around here they are not very common

Rep Power: 0 I agree, I tend to see one car a day with them. It's just that the whole point of them was to make you unique from other cars. Now it's been a real long time since I've seen 99-00 Si with the regular headlights.

Rep Power: 0 Oh my god, they are just tail lights. Why does there have to be 40,000 threads flaming them? Either ya like them and put them on your car, or you dont, and you know not to put them on your car. I'm sorry, but this topic is just really old.
altezzas are cool, but played out, some, but to each his own............is like to see a new idea.........any ideas??????? i was consideing pullin apart the altezzas, then paintin the crome body color, i ve only seen it once, but it was after i thought of it.................. id welcome any new tail light options, until then, im stickin to OEM

the "Altezza tail lights" came from an actual car, the Toyota Altezza, otherwise known as the Lexus IS300 here in the US just in case you cared
