no offense to your choice of ICE, but the local sound advice told me they gonna drop their Xplode line... because the Xplod does exactly what they say.. explode.... hope you still have a warranty

I doubt sony's dropping the xplod line. They already have several new model year headunits at cartoys, and i've seen the new 6 1/2 speakers at best buy.

I've got a Sony XPlod CD-player and I love it. Haven't had a lick of problems with it yet. The biggest reason I got it was it matches my car....red!!!!!

Sony XPLOD gear in pretty much all it;s forms is massed produce low quality junk.....It's right up there with Road gear and Jensen.... Sony's ES line however is quality equipment.. Explod HU's have reportadly had every problem you can imagine.....Change HU's Bro.

Cheers

Yeah, the Xplod line is a joke, mainly a market ploy to get a large section of the 18-25 yr old demographic. The stuff is basic equipment, nothin to special. For quality HU's go with pioneer or alpine, great stuff. I've had a couple Pioneer HU's and haven't had a single problem yet.
