the neon guy has a point.... hell i love my civic as much as any of yall do, but seriously... without FI, we are slow... even with it.... we arent fast. Until you start breakin low 14's you dont qualify for anything close to fast.

I hear ya...I was hoping the new Si would be a little quicker than it is...that car was kind of a dissapointment to me..although it's supposed to handle pretty well....

And yes, our civics are not built fpr speed but they can be very fast, but when I get the RSX type R when it comes out in 2003, that will be a diffferent story.

headers.....why, I don't know.....I don't make the rules. Even all the people and friends that work at Jotech here in Dallas call them headers, so I don't know......why it bother s you and why you and your friend sit around and laugh at people for saying that, I have no clue...sounds pretty lame if you ask me. screaminDOHC.. i too love more than just 1 type of car... its cool that you come here if u actually have an interest in our 2k1 civics but if you're coming here to nitpick and argue everything that is said then you're just wasting our time as well as your own. No one cares that you know that its header and not headers. Personally im not a fan of neons and im pretty sure even a modified 2k1 civic could take yours. New neons even lose to stock LXs like me. I know my car isnt fast and nor do i care at this time. Now just admit your neon isnt fast and then youve cleared up the only lie you've told in this thread. Im sure your sundance or watever the hell it is is fast.. but its ugly and thats not my thing.

Jhonda- Props on the 2K1. I told you, your Civic was the tightest one i had seen, and f#$k if you didn't catch me off guard. You jumped quick before I knew you wanted to run. Your mods are tight and its the only one in charlotte i've seen with that many mods, much less run like that, but lets be realistic before we get on the net. Rolling from 35-40 then you dropping gears and me starting round 3500 in third is not a race. Once you dropped it and I knew what you wanted, then i dropped it. You were ahead from the start. When I ""came back for more"" at 20mph (more like 40), i was checking out your ride, then you kicked it again. And I was very hesitant as to what I was doing - because i've had to run from the police around sugar creek/harris - not in the mood for that again. I don't know if you gave your civic all it had, but i wasn't all on my IVTEC. When I blinked my highs at you, it because of the crownvic rolling westbound. From where we ran, i saw you gain, then i saw me gain, so to me, i thought i would have had you, but it was up in the air and to short. We never got in the good range 120+ feels so good in that car! imagine 0-130

I give props to your car - for real, it was tight, but to be dogged on the net, not so cool. You may have my milk - I'm not saying I can win that race. NOS is nothing to f#$k with. But all I'm saying is, you didn't see all that my RSXS had.
I'm sure they'll be a time - if you catch me before i get in my cls 6speed. I'm am sort of interested in seeing NA/NA. Turn your tank off, I'll bolt my factory air box back on, then i'll run my dirt-***-stock RSXS v/s you with the bottles off - but you leave all other mods on. BUT - i'm not punking out - you very well may have me with NOS - it was a tight car. But Harris aint the place and I am in fact running damn near stock.
