The new eclipse is ugly.. this car is looking ugly..

However.. the chops look GREAT! Honda should see stuff like that, and change the design a little bit.

I say who cares what it looks like, I <3 my 7th gen and i had a 92 LX before this. It's all about what we can do to them. All the misconceptions will be realized when/If you see what the engine can do and the all around performance we can play with. I loved the concept look and then i saw the spied and they look kind of UHHHHH, but for some odd reason i think the new SI will have much potential to be beasted!

I'm really thinking about getting one right when they come out, but i might wait a tiny bit to see more about them.

How about you guys all just buy used RWD sporty/sport cars. They're going for roughly the same amount as any of these new "si's" will be going for. Go pick up a slightly used (or even leftover new) Is300/350Z/RX8/S2K/etc. Well if insurance isn't an issue for you.

You know the new Si is going to command dealer markups. I don't see the value in this car at all. Yeah, it looks like the new eclipse. Yeah it's supposed to have over 200 hp. Yeah it gets an LSD (supposedly). And YEAH, THE POWER IS GOING TO THE WRONG WHEELS.

I don't know, I was excited about the original design, but now that different info, pics, and pricing is becoming available, I think the car is not worth the money. I'd rather buy an LX and set it up for auto-x.
