Well your right.... They are legit, but.........
While I was at HIN, their booth happened to be in front of me. I was talking to a guy who was sponsered. He was not happy with them. They only get you discounts (no big deal, still sounds cool), and have a vendor list you must go through. You are also required to go to a certin amount of shows. That wasn't it....
The guy I spoke to gave an example:
He ordered 4 tires, 8 weeks later.... 1 came in. Called, and they told him he only ordered 1....
He called to place an order for a set of seats, from a well known Mfr. He was denied the seat he wanted, and they ordered a diffrent seat through a Mfr. They put the seat on back-order, several months later.... A seat arrived, in the wrong style, and wrong color.
Calls up to get "Approval" for lights, and was denied. They stated they didn't want that "look" on one of "THEIR" cars.
Over all he wasn't happy with them. He was at HIN for his final show. He was threw with them.
He wasn't the only one that I got that from either at the show. I don't know if I would want to deal with that. Sponserships aren't easy to come by, especialy a Good one. When looking for one, don't forget: They have requirements for you to fill....

i signed up just now, yes i read the post about they arent that good. but right now i dont care. im short for money and want my car to look good. so even if i only stay sponsered for a year or so, do my time then leave, my car will be alittle bit better than it is now...
I also heard that its' legit but that the stuff that u get discounts on r not worth it. I think that someone told me that you get a deal on shitty products like old Aiwa decks. wooohooo.... also heard that the service was shitty and that they weren't responsive

Actually... They're not as bad as you guys are making them out to be.... I have currently a full deal with Blaupunkt, a half deal with streetFX, and a full deal with decal-kits... Full deals mean you get their products free. Half deals mean you pay half... But I don't want anything from streetFX... anyone want something? I can hook you up with an undercar kit.

if you ask to get your car sponsored without only some basic mods that everyone has, then there is nothing to brag about. if they come to you and wanting to sponsor you, then it's different.
On the search look for this there is many different threads about this. Its a sponsorship alright but they are only making money off your ***. You can only buy parts off them and they charge you msrp say your buying a greddy exhaust its 750.00 they will give you discounted prices so say 550.00 then you put a greddy sticker on your car and your "Sponsored" screw that i rather buy my **** somewhere else. They also make you follow many rules. you must attend car shows and all these other things. Its not to legit to me when stock cars can get "Sponsored"

you need to have some decent parts on your car... when you send pics in, and they see stuff is done to the car. Then they start sending you bigger better sponsorships.
