hey just want to know if its common that a 7th gen civic transmission goes out before 100k miles? from what i been reading its very common hopefully thats not tru that would suck 4 me. and if it does does anyone know how much does it usually cost for the repair?

if youre auto, some of the tranmissions do fail before 100K... but then there are ppl that have no problems.

stick or auto? if auto, then about 1500-2k. unless its under warranty, then its free. if its a stick then it should only be a couple hundred bucks. do you drive it hard or something?

no i dont drive it hard, well once in a while (cant lie) but i read that 7thgen arent aa well build as previous generation
