XA
August is the first month of production for the 2006 xA. Model Year 2006 minor changes include:

Exterior Changes:

��Upper/Lower Grille Honeycomb - inserts (like tC); Rectangular, more aggressive
��Lower Intake More - aggressive design
��Headlamps Detail changes; - “eyebrow” added
��Rocker Panel Color-keyed; - more refined
��Turn Signals tC type signal in outside mirror
��Tail lamps Re-design emphasizing width
��Lower Bumper Color-keyed; improved integration
��Wheel Covers 3 new wheel covers (now all shared w/ xB)

Interior Changes
Change - Comment
��Seat Fabric Freshen appearance
��Steering wheel New steering wheel with audio controls
��Meters Background changed from white to silver on speedometer
��iPod / Mini-jack iPod and mini-jack connectors added to center console
��Audio Head Unit New design to be shared on all 3 Scions

xB will get a freshening in two stages.
�� 1st stage of product freshening will be the items listed above developed for xA minor changes and will be shared with xB
�� 2nd stage of product freshening will be at end of 2005 coinciding with vehicle changes to comply w/ FMVSS
�� 3 new wheel covers (shared with xA)
�� iPod / Mini-jack connectors on center console
�� New audio head unit design

��new steering wheel with intergrated audio controls
��redesigned pioneer headunit with optional ipod interface
��new interior standard features
��Silver Streak Mica and Indigo Ink Pearl exterior colors will be replaced with Classic Silver Metallic and Nautical Blue.


2007
xA will have a second gen version
xB will be dropped and replaced with this possibly, the scion porte (name change probable)



Scion dL is still speculation. However, rumor has it that Scion will be releasing a mini-truck (named the t2b fastback and cargo?) which some of you may have seen.

I heard we might get that middle truck, a 3 door though I believe...

I also would like to see the 5 door Euro Corolla in their lineup. Anyway, Porte DAMD just sounds like umm... well, a damned port.

That bottom one looks weird. A xB w/ a cargo thingy... not feeling it.

nothing major. no exterior refreshments except for 2 color changes, but there will be a few interior refreshments including a new headunit.
