Gauges problem

Gauges problem

i need help removing the outter ring of the gauge cluster......
THe black plastic surrounding the gauge cluster before your get to the plastic clear
panel that protects the gauges........
I got the top part of the panel out but i can't seem to get the bottom out......
the odometer push toggle and the light push toggle are in the way please help......

i know what you mean man!! after i unscrewed the top two screws...i had to pull super hard to get the bottom of that plastic thing out of its clips(2) just pull super hard from one corner then the other and bam its out. BUt its pulling thats scary...dont wanna break it ya know

you know what I found out that was easier to do, I took the steering colum plastic apart allowing me to pull the plastic infront of the guage cluster out. remember when you pull it , pull it straight back towards you =-)

You have to pull with an unreasonable amount of force (straight back, like he said).

I removed mine and painted it, once you get the screws out just pull straight back really hard.

its stuck wit some double sided tape at the bottom.. and maybe 2 plastic clips? just rip it out.. it wont break...
