you'll need to find a lx header and exhaust if you don't want to some more modification.

You can also convert your exhaust system to EX specs by swapping in an EX header, sway bar, bushings, cat, and exhaust system.

none are best. They just make sound and no power.

why spend 300-400 on headers when they give you nothing?

i bought my oem ex header for $26 shipped and i just bought an oem ex cat for $63 shipped. Now i just need an exhaust of my choice and a oem front sway bar...which some people say you dont have to change, i still have to do more research on that. im probably gonna go with the rs*r exmag or greddy sp2.

if you don't live in cali or somewhere where emissions testing is uber strict, the best horsepower mods for a lx/dx would be to convert to the ex exhaust system. its one of the reasons why the ex makes more power. It has the better exhaust system.

I'm so use to having loose emission laws where I'm from. I forgot about places like cali. To tell you the truth I no nothing of those emission laws.

i have lx and have done i/h/e before without any ex modification. look for header that is made for lx, kamikaze and HP both i believe make it for lx. ls exhaust is basically an ex exhaust with an extension pipe.

when you spend about 700 for both and put them together you'll find that they do nothing for your car besides adding sound. useless in my opinion, save the money and do better things with them.

another thing i would focus on a civic is suspension.

On a D series engine, I/H/E is just sound FX. Just save the money and do a swap. I found a k20A Type R 3 days ago down in Ft. Lauderdale. Its not cheap but worth every penny.
