Rep Power: 294 sounded like it was for a movie. listen at the end, you can here someone say something, and then 'Cut, Cut, Cut'. plus with the way all the cars were driving around in a circle like that.

Well, lets see, monster engine, gut wrenching torque, thin tires, and a real light ***-end.....yeah, I'd say it could drift.

Rep Power: 286 metallica has a point, although rears of cars that are popular for drifting are alot lighter than those ever will be in the rear.
u guys gotta realize drifting has been around forever even before it was a sport people were still doing it cus its always been a way to get around

Rep Power: 0 "Drifting"? Is that what it's called now? Used to call it "skidding". Those 60s-70s muscle cars were way out of balance with a heavy and powerful engine up front and a VERY light rear. I did a 360 in my 69 Camaro one time on dry pavement (unintentionally). I was making a sharp left when all of a sudden the tail broke loose, and I was doing circles. Almost tossed my cookies. Luckily nobody was in the next lane when I 'went for a spin'!

Rep Power: 0 "Professional Driver on a Closed Course". Stuntmen do that kind o stuff all the time in movies. Or at least used to, before CGI. Notice how all the other cars are conveniently driving in the right hand lane. Why all the Nissans? Ever stay for the credits at the end of a movie? Usually there's a blurb that says "Cars supplied by". My guess is that yes, Nissan supplied them with the cars. You would not believe what companies do to get their products featured in a movie. If there was some way Coca-Cola could get a Coke can in Darth Vader's hand, they'd do it. As you mentioned, it's called "product placement". And yes, companies do pay for the privelege of having their products used in a movie. That, or in the case of Nissan, they donate cars for free.

Rep Power: 268 Who says it's so insane? The safety preps undertaken before a shot like that are the thing that's insane. I'm not saying that a fiery wreck would NOT happen, but the odds are decidedly slim.
