Ford GT Supercar Spotted.
I saw one of these on the street in downtown Boston today.
I don't really sweat these cars but the sheer rarity of them made me
. I would have taken a picture myself if it hadn't passed by so quickly, so here's a similar pic of the white one that I saw.

tell the truth, I wondered the same you never see Ford GT around. I see carrera GTs wellf riend owns one. I see ferrari Enzos hell even ferrari f50 and f40's but never one ford GT

Rep Power: 0 Its a lot cheaper than most supercars, limited run or not. Check out the reviews, nobody really had any problems with it at all. Only part of it I don't like is the headlights, the plastic makes it look really cheap. The cabin is beautiful though, engine could use some work, but I'm sure a new pair of pulleys to up the boost a bit would give that engine a lot more oomph.

I wouldn't! its still ford over lamborghini/ferrari! i got to see one of these also. Locally, in huntington beach, i saw a red GT with 2 white stripes down the center filling up at a chevron. i almost had to change my pants right there as i watched, envied the old bastard filling up his tank... but i would still take a 360/stradale over the gt. indeed sexy cars

Rep Power: 0 I'd drive one if it was given to me. but buying one.....um, no. they are all built by hand though. true craftsmanship, and that's a +. but I'd "buy" an NSX over a ford GT anyday. or linkenfelter(spelling?) corvette. I'd probably go with the vette since c6's are sexy as hell and it has 725hp!!!!!!! and turbos, cause turbos are pimp.

Heck, even the car magazines that usually rip any domestic apart like the Ford GT and give it its credit.
The Ford GT and just about every other "supercar" are going to need a performance increase once the C6 Z06 hits the streets. 500hp in an all around awesome car for 60k is crazy.

Rep Power: 318 all I got to say is yes the new z06 should be pretty damn close to the ford GT in speed. The corvette z06 also weighs less than the ford GT. With its compliment of carbon fiber body pannels and hydroformed Aluminum subframe armed with a 6 speed typtronic transmission there is very few cars in the world that can touch it. Yes the z06 will come in a 6 speed typtronic tranny as an extra cost option from the stick.
The vettes are coming back to terrorize the streets of imports. you can send your vette off to callaway for three months and have choice three differnt tunning packages placed on it.
one I like is this,
. They will intercool supercharge it and replace brakes suspension and tires. All cali smog legal with a hp at crank rated 600hp on pump gass...

Rep Power: 0 It's obvious that we're all import fans here, and I normally **** on domestics myself. However, to just pas the GT off as "still a ford" has no logic. The car is an engineering marvel and holds its own against virtually any car italy, germany, or england can through at it. It also has been given props for it's comfortable ride and well appointed interior. Anyone who truly loves cars should appreciate them for what they are and not the brand name. Why do fords suck? poor reliability, resale, build quality. From all accounts build quality on the GT is excellent, and who the hell buys a 150k car and worries about reliability... NOT MILLIONAIRES. The GT owns, and from the looks of it the "crappy GM" Zo6 will own harder for less $.

Yes. Yes I do. The Ford name doesn't have the majesty it had back in the day. I'm not saying it's not a great car, probably is....I just really and truly don't trust Ford at all.

Im not a fan of the retro looks or that fact that they supercharged it to get the horsepower, however its faster than a Pagani Zonda, so Its performance cannot be denied. Also the interior is pretty sweet

Think about it though, if you had the money for this, you could most likely also afford a C6 Z06. I think I'd like that......Ford GT for my weekend car, and a C6 Z06 as my DD.
