Hey folks,

I'm having to make a break for it, leaving the soft road-hugging ways for the family friendly, bulkster vehicle......but just wondering how many folks have caught those ads flying around comparing the SUV driving exp to the taming of a wildebeast straight out of a freakshow zoo??

Anybody else seen this?

I was curious enough to find out more about the whole safe driving to check their site.....they actually offer a freebie game to test one's driving skill www.esuvee.com/landing.html in case you want to test yourself out.....but I'm still not sure whether I'm being all too paranoid or make a big deal abt nothing?

i had an suv before my civ. i loved it...gas sucked. but otherwise, it was cool. the problem nowadays is that people can't drive their suv's for sh*t!!! thats the whole point of the esuvee.com commercials. people think they can drive it on the highway like it were a passenger car. it sucks *** when i see an expedition or suburban or whatever flying along like it were no big deal. and in the rain or snow? it becomes even worse. they think, "oh, i have all wheel drive. no problem. i dont can stay right on the *** of the guy in front of me." then they have to stop short and the weight of the thing takes them right through something. i dont have beef with people who drive suv's as long as they drive it smart. but thats a lot easier said than done apparently.

ps. i drove a box-like '91 mitsu montero.

yeah in the snow around here i get passed by people in suv's all the time who are flying, then see them off the road a few miles ahead. 4wd is nice, but it dosent help you stop lol
