Smoking my tail lights

Okay, so I have the stuff to smoke my tail lights, and I am going to do it tonight, but I am not sure if I should smoke the entire light, or leave the reverse light white. My car is black, and I would like some input, or photos of people who have done this. HELP!

for legality sake tint reverse light also so it isnt as obvious that youve tinted the tail in the first place

i didnt use a blowdryer, i used nightshades brand
this is what i did and it worked good
1.wash tailight with wax&grease remover (any good cleaner without wax residue left behind)
2. dry sand with 2,000 grit sand paper (do it fairly lightly so you dont push too hard and see scratchees later, just sand until whole tailight is dull)
3. spray first coat, let dry, spraty second coat, then sprayed a lil in ceratin areas where nescessary. (places where it was lighter, yes i did even coats)
4. i didnt do this but i recommend it, buy the clear coat spray from autozone or w/e and while the second coat is drying spray a really light coat of clear then once that clear dries spray a regular coat or 2.

as far as i know in massachusetts anyways it is illegal because it will reduce effectiveness of reflectors inside the tails and makes it then harder for anyone to see you causing accidents even during daytime, i knew this but decided i would just take my chance and say i had no clue, after a ticket ill probably either sand it off and buff it back to original or get some 05's
