Trucks Trucks Trucks... which one???

Ok my mom is going to purchase a truck to pull our horses around some where in the next 2 months. She is wondering what would be the best thing between power and most importantly reliability... here's what she is considering...

Nissan Titan
Toyota Tundra
Ford F150 v8
GMC Sierra
Chevy Silverado
and maybe the Dodge Ram but prolly not some of our family friends have had problems with them

she doesn't want to spend much over 32,000 since its purley a truck just to haul around the horses.

so give me your opinions

Dont know too much about trucks but I'm going to assume that import > domestic applies here also like it does with cars.

So I would say go with the Titan or the Tundra

GMC or Chevy (chevy will probably be cheaper), as much as I hate most of their cars. They do know how to build a good truck.

imports arent better than domestics in this category, buy a chevy (any gm brand).
my father has has alot of different brands of pickups from dodge to chevy to nissan to ford to jeep and toyota out of them all he said he would judge chevy as the best quality all around.
if you dont get a chevy then i guess ford is also good but my preference and suggestion is chevy. dont buy a dodge...chrysler is the worst of the big 3....
either way if you are going to be beating on them get something heavy duty and diesel ..... the combination is worth the upfront sticker price for the long time it will last and operate well.
my list would definately go....
1. silverado
2.sierra
3. f250-350
4.titan
5.tundra

Uh, he said he wanted a truck to pull horses. Not a "I'm a gangsta rap artist with a very small magic stick". Sorry dude, I just don't go for fancy trucks. Nothing against your parents.

I'd get the F-150. Past the Titan, I would never consider an import truck.

I wouldn't get the Ford but thats my personal opinion. I don't like fords. I don't think the Tundra has enough power to tow a trailer with two horses. The Titan is really nice but I'm not sure on if it can tow a horse trailer (I'm sure it could). Chevy and GMC are the same thing but I like the styling on the GMC better. That's my 2 cents.

As much as I hate to recommend a Ford product, you can't lose with the F-series.

Tundra and Titan are pretenders. I'd buy a Nissan or Toyota small pick-up but for big trucks there's no comparison.
