well that AEM add claims that with 5 bolt on power mods from AEM/DC sports you gain like 50+ hp. i guess the k20 loves bolt ons. plus that guy seems like a decent driver. and by decent i mean launch/shifting... not the fact that he's doing 125 mph on the freeway.

k series are i-vtec no? i-vtec "supposed" hates bolt ons. The computer is programmed to operate on the **** that came with the car, so its optimal performance would be on stock componentry, not aftermarket bolt ons. At least this is what the so-called "experts" are saying, but who knows.

either way, i don't believe that an RSX-S can take 1) EVO 2) S2k 3) SRT4 with minimal mods. That s2k wasn't stock either, so I dunno why he got owned so badly.

wtf, i just drove an 05 type-s today, and i was beating on that thing and it wasn't moving like that. Maybe the k20 really loves bolt-ons. Insane to go tht fast on the street though.

don't believe the hype, peep crsx. His name is rollintypeS and claims w/ those 3mods he runs a 13.6. Those movies are rigged... he starts in 2nd gear (in his powerband), while everybody else is in 3rd. He honks like this:

Just so you guys know...that RSX-S has more modz then what is listed. The guy that owns that RSX-S is a member of the ClubRSX forum. He started a thread a while back talkin about how he would race (and beat) any WRX or EVO. Some WRX ended up racin him and kicked his azz. The video posted in this thread was also posted on the ClubRSX forum. Most forum members tended to agree that this guy has nitrous. The bolt-ons he is advertising would put him around 200 whp. There is no way he is gonna take an S2K with just those modz.

The guy is a freakin loser!

K-Pro (with the base calibration) increases the redline to 8600 rpms. You can tweak the settings to make the redline higher, but it is ill-advised unless you have the proper internal modz.

i agree with horrorskopes, a lot of people drop it in 3rd at 40 when they should drop it in 2nd- thats the only way an RSX could take on anything -they probably lost hp with bolt-ons the k20 sucks with bolt ons

I think the most amazing thing in this video is the skill of that guy driving! he was damn good at pushing that RSX harder than 95% of other drivers could

The thing with boltons is most hondas lose low end torque but gain a little high end horsepower/torque.
And if he is starting at high RPMs then the rsx-s has a good chance against alot of other cars

I have seen type-s' run 13.4 with cai...cat back...and new tires and the driver was sick...And i know him and have looked threw his car and its all he had............

and with i/h/e/highflow cat/vafc II...and dyno tunned my ex's car had 191 whp

he has a hondata flash, as well as his i/h/e. you can tell just by his races.

^^^ where not talking about your friend, where talking about (rollintypeS) a member of crsx with a o5 type-s with I/E/H and stock tires with a 2.4 60' hit a 13.6... it's a LIE! Ontop of that, the owner of the s2k has said, they raced about 10x... he pulled him 8x, the other 2 his car felt sluggish and that's when the o5 type-s pulled him, but the owner won't post the other 8x he got killed! An s2k will ish on a type-s, PERIOD! Only race that seems reasonable is the srt4, but even a again... he cheats...

His 2nd > There 3rd

non-the-less, he is still a pretty damn good driver, even if he does do a short 3rd beep and just take off...lol
