Question REal Spinners

okay i was goign to put this in the wheel forum but it doesnt really have to do with my civic. Do any of you know who makes the REAL Spinners? not the spintek but the actual rims that keep spinning.

Spreewells or whatever that gay basketball guy started them. Any body in a civic forum should not be looking for spinners!!!! I hope some poor civic doesnt have them. Or you could roll to pep boys and get the pin wheel ones the fake ones!!!

spreewell... davin... i think spreewells are the only true ones where the whole rim spins when u stop. The davins have like a piece behind them and the outer spins or inner (kind of like a attachment). Spinners are alright if u get the right kinds that actually work, however they look terrible when ur driving. I used to like them, but i like just regular chrome wheels now, if ur going that route

Lexabi, DUB, Davins are a few names that come to mind. Best to go to a local shop and see what all they have to offer.

Davins were the spinners that Sprewell Racing displayed on that MTV show a long time ago.

I wouldn't do the whole spinner thing on any car personally, last summer at Heatwave in Austin, Texas over 85 percent of the cars there had spinners, it's getting way overplayed... I think Motor Trend said it best in their current issue-

"Jump the shark" THAT SUBWOOFER- shuddering SUV in the next lane pulls to a halt at the stoplight but- look!-its wheels are still turning! Ha hah! Ho ho ho! So very funny! Or, at least that's what you thought the first 4,000 times you saw that act. Okay fellas, the joke is, like, over now. Spinners are officially as tired as "My other car is a broom" stickers. Time for the next laugh-a-minute auto accessory- hey, has anyone thought about a horn that plays "La Cucaracha"?

Spinners are dumb and gay, I mean whats the point? it doesn;t show that you are rich because everyone has em, it doesn't show that you are unique because everyone has em, it doesn't show that you have good taste because everyone has em. Catch my drift?

Every time you think about buying spinners, god kills a penguin. Please think of the penguins.

I once saw a car with spinning rims...so I blew the car up and slowly killed the driver for his incompetence.
