watch out im back on the road. yay!
ok i went to edgewater on friday night (dragstrip near me) and i had my best run ever
18.2 with a reaction time of .2 and i learned how 2 smoke my tires in an automatic with out n to d tranny bombs.
next week im taking out my subs the cardboard the carpet and the spare tire i should bust into the 17's! wish me luck yall!

do u just hold ur brake down and put ur car in D and press down the gas and let the brake go to smoke your tires?
I don't think it really matters if u smoke your tires or not... there aren't any traction problems unless you are neutral dropping it.

i hold the brake down with my left foot, rev it up 2 3 grand (this is in the burnout box at the track btw) i let my foot off the brake and pull the e brake itll hold till i feel ive smoked em enough lol. im gonna get video next weekend ill post it up on here

i wouldnt think so, i mean i jsut did it cause it heats up the tires enough for me 2 get better times, cause i used 2 never do it and friday i did it, and i ran the best ive done so far

i planned on it man, im also gonna hit up the auto X! track racing is alot more fun than street racing, learn from me peeps, take it to the track its alot more fun

how are you launching it? do you just mash the gas on green? when launching an auto i think its to your advantage to "stand on it" hold the brake with your left foot, mash the gas with your right, your car will start to rev but prolly stop at aroun 2500-3000 rpms. release the brake on green this should give you a bit more of a jump rather than gas on green.

my friend john used to neutral drop all the time in his 90 civic sedan auto, sold the car, but now he has a 96 240sx auto, he did it a couple times, and his tranny blew lol.

thanks, when i 1st started driving it was all weird 2 me again, my steering was all slushy my braking was sloppy and my acceleration was rapid and awkward, now im right back where i belong and everything is good again
