I dont know about 1st or not but in the Nitrous FAQ on this site, it says not to spray in 1st or 5th. I guess if you have auto it wont be so bad, but In my lil D17 1st gear flys up to redline fast without n2o, so imagine a Vette spraying in first "could you change fast enough?"
