your first atempt might not be perfect but the material cost is low so I say go for, if it goes well write a diy....
My first Q. Is why?
Then a comment:
From what I have seen being around shops that do it you have to take apart your seats and by that I mean un threading them being careful to not rip the original patterns, Then lay them on the new material trace the shape with a non permanent marker, cut out the new patterns and sew them back up with at least double stiching, if not triple. Seems simple but all I can say is good luck!

i can get you some RSX leathers if you want, i'll just have to rip them out of my buddy's RSX. i dont think he'll notice his seats missing. hahahaha
I would think stitching everything together is the easiest part.
The hardest part would be trying to put then back on your seat frame.
If you look under and inside your sears you'll realizethat theres a ton of hooks and such holding it all together.
It's a huge pain in the *** to do but it can be done.
This is why most people who buy leather take it to a shop to have it done.

dude ive been thinking about this lately alot also, i was gonna just do the autoleathers.com (or w/e it is) and put those on myself but i want a leather/suede seat all ive been able to get is all leather seats online from them and they dont have the color im really looking for. if you do this or attempt it or see someone whos done it lets see some pics because im interested in it also, ive taken the covers half off my rear seats out of curiosity and it seems easy
tools you will need if decide to do this:
steam maker
3m spray glue
1"foam at least 4' X 4' peice
and check out some sewing forums ask them what type stiching should be used!
I think its cool that your going to try, You never know you might be the first DIY on how to remake your seat covers!!
Go for it!!! Show some pics when your done!!
