.. why do some people feel the need to downshift and floor their car whenever they see another hooked up car... its annoying. A srt4 did it to me yesterday, however, it was actually pretty quick and made cool exhaust sounds. And today, a integra (cheapest model i believe) with just exhaust, sees my car go past his because he was turning, and i was actually stopping for the light. And he has to downshift and floor it for 5 seconds until he has to stop and turn. During all of this.. he has a look on his face.. like "i'm the ****". It was so annoying. On top of it all, his car was so slow when he floored it. Furthmore, yesterday i was driving and stopped accelerating because a red light was ahead, and a car gets right up on me for like a good 30 seconds, however i don't speed up, just to **** him off more for being a ricer, then he turns into the lane next to me and starts purging his car at the light for no reason. It's alright to rev ur car or floor it when just fooling around with people you actually know or something, but sometimes its just so gay when people do it.
I just dont' get how people become ricers... like i know, for the most part, there are reasons why people become serial killers or **** stars for example. Someone needs to conduct a study on why people become ricers.
Sorry for the long stupid post.. i just wanted to vent my fustrations! My former pastor said.. most people live their lives trying to impress people they don't know, and the people that you do know you don't have to impress.. something like that, its so true.

same reason why i see people drive an sti slow because if you buy a 30,000 car you have no one to impress but yourself , but then i see all teh cheap people with cars that shouldnt be driving that fast driving the cars like they stole them

i hope one day i can acquire an exotic car, just to **** in the face of all ricers and destroy their kind. Only then will they truly know that they aren't the **** because i will be.

hhaa join the crowd. my friend does that downshifting and flooring it past modified civics. its quite annoying when im in the car but when im in my car following i just start shaking my head. my other friend makes fun of him all the time about his way he acts against civic modifiers. i better not hear him say **** about my civic when i modify it or else *shake fist*

well of course but just this one thought comes to mind when i was driving on the 5 once im going maybe like 75 not that fast not to many cars on or anything and i see this blue sti with a kid that looks maybe younger then me 19 or so both hands on the wheel going like 70 very cautious and everything, then i see all these other guys going like 80 or 85 flying by swerving in and out of lones in like dodge neons or whatever else, cars that maybe should be doing that, but thats what i meant by it. the ones thats have it dont, and the ones, that want it but cant have it do

yea, its one thing when ur downshifting to slow down, but its different when u downshift and floor it.. then slam on ur brakes
