Rep Power: 0 we shouldn't be so harsh on the srt4 owners.. there are some educated owners too! Just like civic owners.. there are a lot of idiot civic owners that don't know anything about cars and think their cars are fast.. at least the srt4 is decently quick. There aren't as many srt4s as civics on the road, but i see a lot more civic owners driving like idiots than srt4s. A lot of srt4 owners i see on the road don't see their car as a drag race machine, but just like a regular car they bought and just drive around at regular speeds. I have personally read threads posted by civic owners that are just lies and uneducated... such as "i raced a rsx up to 90 and beat it by 3 cars.." when in fact that it totally not what happened because i was driving the rsx and the race was up to 20 mph until a car got in front me... I just want to point out that civic owners can be a$$holes and make up stuff too. Now just imagine those same civic owners with a turbo running 13s.. i bet they would be far worse then srt-4 owners. And about srt4 owners only talking about straight line racing.. most of civic owners are the same way. There are very educated members on this board who really know about cars, but for every 1 of those who do know what they are talking about, there are 50 civic owners who don't. And that is why we bash srt-4 and domestic owners, and they bash us. Because the majority of us make the rest of us look like idiots!

I would like to see how the Srt-4 is stacking up after some time on the road...They haven't done much of anything to this car to seperate it from their old philosophy of "Toss in a turbo and call it a day". Most of those past vehicles broke down and blew oil sender lines before the hit the 60,000 km barier....I'm not sure the Srt-4 will be any different.

Maybe people just buy the car for the wrong reasons, but the srt4 definately serves its purpose.. if its not made to be a daily driver, then its not the cars fault when people abuse it everyday and it breaks.

Rep Power: 0 i was merging on the highway today and a srt4 was merging off.. it was about 50 feet where i got on and he had to get off. so we switched lanes.. i got behind him.. he turned into the lane i was in.. then he looks in his mirror, downshifts and floors his car for about 10 feet and slams on his brakes.. it made me think of this thread

Rep Power: 0 I know at least 10 SRT4 owners and a couple of them are jackasses that think there car is the best thing ever made, but the rest are just normal guys that are really cool and know what there talking about, and have tuned their car properly and are fast as crap, my friend shawn has over 400HP in his, and has over 85k on his car with the stock tranny!!! which is prety damn impressive. I've seen a whole lot more civic ricers that think they know it all and get owned every weekend. I'd take a srt4, there mod potential is no joke... well scratch that ill take a srt4 motor in my civic... its one of the few cars that has a iron block and is strong as hell(when driven properly)

Rep Power: 0 see, i like the srt4 (as a car), but a few owners I have no respect for. A few running around here are really cool, but some others are jackasses... ive been peepin war stories for awhile now, so that thread is nothing new to what ive seen... it's just real pathetic.
althought they are ignorant baffoons over there, diskreet your post didnt quite seem consistent and really didnt make a point against what they were saying. nobody mentioned gas mileage and comfortability or practicality or whatnot.
