and that was a 97 F1 car, imagine a new one.

C2i0v0i1C: on the whole enzo thing, Top gear tested a 2004 Renault F1 car around their test track, the Enzo did the track in 1:19, the F1 car did it in :59

You can't compare a street legal car to a track car. An F1 car is basically an engine and a seat.

dont' u get dizzy in the f1 cars with the wind, cuz ur head is sticking out of the caR? Why don't they make a plastic window thing or something like on the batmobile

because if something happens the driver wont be able to get out fast enough if theres a roof overhead. this way they can just climb out. their heads are strapped in well enough, or braced at least, that they dont really jerk around that much with the wind. and the helmet helps w/ the road debris etc.

^ and it's been wind tunnel tested to avoid the drivers head from being tossed around. The drivers also have special resistance training machines to help build up the neck muscles. So I would imagine that the wind doesn't seem as treacherous to those F1 drivers. And people say race car drivers aren't athletes.
I'll bet the HANS device helps too.

The F40 0-60 in 3.2 secs though..(quoted on top gear...) Enzo is slower than that...
