Civic GX
2 Questions. What is a Civic GX? I was looking on Edmunds.com and under the 2003 Honda Civic, there is an option for the GX. It says it has 100 HP. Also, I know there was a thread for a Limited Edition Civic, but this weekend I saw an EX Special Edition Civic. It was an 03. What is a Special Edition Civic? I searched and didn't find any info. Thanks!!!

I just checked edmunds too. From the specs, i'm guessing its the sedan version of the hx for the coupe. There both CVT transmissions.

Unless that natural gas power civic was a joke I'm gonna say it was a typo and its supposed to be an HX because G and really close to H...

There has been a GX for years now. They just don't sell many of them because no one knows what they hell they are. It is a natural gas civic.

You can fill them up at home or some gas stations have natural gas. So basically, you just have to know where to get it. The Flexcar people around the DC metro use them for their fleet.

The special edition comes in both LX and EX. Link

The special edition comes with rims, spoiler, 6 disc mp3 player, 6 speakers. and a leather wrapped steeringwheel. What surprises me is that many ppl dont look at the Honda site for civic information.

i saw either in a honda brochure, or on their website that the GX is primarily sold to corporations, so they could use them as a company car. basically, only to companies that would buy quite a few of them, as it's hard to find natural gas refilling stations around town.
