What's a good price for a new Accord EX V6?

I'm shopping to get rid of the Civic. If I can sell the 'vic, I'm pretty sure I can lease a new v6 accord ex and _save_ money on my payments. I'm asking y'all for input on how much to offer them for this car:

2005 Accord EX V6 Coupe, NBP/Black leather
6-speed manual
4000+ miles on it (a dealer demo)
sticker is just over $28,000

The EX coupe has 6-disc in-dash 180 watt stereo, moonroof, etc., etc. (no nav).

I drove it yesterday and wow. Carbon fiber trim inside, just an awesome car.

My first thought is to throw out $19k at them and see how offended they look

i dunno. it would have been driven by DOZENS of people, and who knows how they treated it. ALSO, since it's a dealer demo, then they would have taken the car to run errands for the dealership too. and WHO KNOWS how the DEALER guys would treat a car that's not theirs?!?

(sorry to sound like a pessimist, but then again, my car had 4 miles on it when we got it, and that was including our test drive)

you won't be able to buy that car for less than 23,500. sorry to burst your bubble. you will probably be somewhere in the 23,900 - 24,200 range. good luck.

99% of the time, dealer demos are managers' cars that they drive until about 5,000 miles. then, they can still sell it as a new vehicle.

yeah, it was driven by the sales manager. i'm still going to throw out a ridiculously low offer, i really don't want to go over $22k for it...4000+ miles sounds like a lot of depreciation to me. as for condition and how it was driven, it's a HONDA, it can take it. it will still have 31000+ miles of warranty to break

My local Honda dealership offered to sell me a brand new Accord coupe V6 Ex 6 speed for invoice price and even locate one for me since they didn't have one in stock.
Invoice is around the 24K range I believe.

hondasales is right.....I went a couple of weeks ago to about 4 different dealerships, i talked each one down to about the same price 24 - 25 and one offered me 22 for the demo with 6k miles on it. If you lease with no down payment your lookin at about $450 a month for 48 months for the high end model.
