I've only gotten the stares and reving after i've started modding. Around here, the stares are usually just a "hey. what's up. nice ride" type of thing. The revers are the cocky people...

some guy in a ricey focus was at an opposing light to me and mine turns green first to allow left turns. so i see his car and laugh just to **** him off then all of a sudden they get mad and rev the engine first i was like oh that one sounds weird then he kept revvin it... im very very very good at knowing what size engine by hearing it with or without special exhausts. this thing sounded dead on like a mustang 5.0 but there is no way in hell. either way i regretted laughing cus my jaw dropped when i heard it

my car got looks when it was covered in bondo and primer without bumpers on it sitting in front of my dads shop... people see a civic and for some reason need to stare at it. young kids in envy old people in curiosity a few old guys started asking about how the civics are like the new muscle cars... i agree to spare them embarassment.

but now that i have a diff grille people will check it out alot more and if they are behind me they see the shaved trunk and every civic on thr road ive seen has sped up to see whos drivin and stare at the front then downshift and pull away.
