wrx question

Does anyone know what the lightest wrx that is made in the world stock?

the reason i want to know is me an my friend got in a arguement he says there is one that weighs 1100 lbs stock

i think this is

but is it true

im not sure what the lightest one is but 1100lbs is definetly not right for a stock WRX

no there is no Stock WRX that weighs in at 1100 LBS... Notice that the Civic.. in all its stripped wornderment, weighs in at 2500+... hell, a completly stripped CRX weighs more then 1100 (they come out some where in the 1300-1500 LB range when striped.)



Even completly stripped of everything but a seat and a steering wheel.. a WRX would weigh around 2000 LBS...
your friend is crazy.

well stock they are like approx 3000 lbs? Sooo.........without a motor, tranny, drivetrain yeah 1100 lbs.

lets put it this way... i saw a crx with absolutely no interior and he took off all sound deadening material any options not even roll cage to weigh it down. he was at about 1650 lbs.... compare what is pretty much the shell of a crx to a stock wrx off showroom floor
