should i remove the mud guards

im lookin for suggestions, i have rims now and the mudguards look a little out of place, should i take them off? Has anyone taken theirs off and like it/ hated it. Will rocks and stuff now scratch up the sides of my car or make it dirty? Or should i keep them, put a yakima rack on top and some piaas fogs on the hood and go for the rally look. I have waterproof Wet Okole seats to add the outdoorzy feel.

Tell me what u think. My car

Mud guards only really protect about 5 inches behind the wheel well. You can still get sh-t flying up at the rest of your car. If you're really only only driving on asphalt mainly than I'd say remove em. But those nasty holes that are left are gonna look nasty. Filling them in is actually a bitch to do.

I bought mine without and then installed them. The holes won't be vissible, trust me on that one. But they do protect our car. I live in Spokane, and the winters here are pretty nasty. I've noticed the difference since I put them on. But if you live in like Fl or something, go ahead.

My girlfriend and I both have 2k1 civics.. I have mud flaps and she doesn't. We live in florida and you can notice a bunch of scratches on hers. I know the looks might be a bit funny with them still on there with the rims and all.. but have you thought about maybe painting them or something? Maybe if you make them jet-black, you won't notice them as much.
