as I said, I did NOT say that no other filters could be comparable. I stated, however, that honda filters are designed for honda engines, with the exact measurements for bypass pressures, backflow cutoff limits, etc. And yes, the test above DOES prove the genuine honda filter is superior in many ways and is among the top filters out there. You aren't even bothering to read the tests. Ignore the other filters, and look at the details, measurements, construction material, and test numbers of the honda filter. Then tell me that the genuine honda filter isn't one of the better filters out there.

You are saying that's a crock, and I'm trying to prove to you it's not. I've posted data and tests to support my statement, and all you've done is keep putting words into my mouth about me badmouthing other filters. As I said, i didn't say that some filters out there will be comparable and just as good for your car. However, if you haven't done extensive research, rest assured the genuine honda filter is one of the better filters available for your honda.

Fact is though, you're paying for your car, your paying for your oil fitler, your changing your oil, you do what ever you want on your car. Thanks for letting us knwo what happend.

I say everybody has a bad product that comes out every now and then. Someone somewhere will get a bad Porsche, a bad cell phone, a bad Honda, it's simple, nobody can make mass quanities of something and make them all perfect.

lol good find. the oem honda filter beat out the mobil 1 in that test. but i digress. as i said, the honda filter is a good filter. but again thats not to say that there aren't other comparable filters out there.
