White rims?
Need some help on this..... As you know my civic is red and I saw a pic of a red civic just like mine on wingswest.com and it had white rims.... oh my gosh did it look bad ***, I never even thought about getting white rims but after I saw that I seriously want them, but does any one have these that can tell me just how dirty and nasty they will get compared to if I got silver one's?

White rims get dirty as hell and u have to take good care of them but they will never get as nasty as they will look on a red civic. Please dont put white rims on a red civic. Its just wrong

let me tell you, it's a bitch to keep clean. also don't make the sa,e mistake as me, polish the rims before you put them on, or as soon as you can. the brake dust leaves a light stain on the rim. you can't see it from far but when you get close to it then you notice it. also watch out for pot holes. just scratched my rim last night. didn't see the pot hole. thank god it's only a small unoticeable scratch. boy 18's are expensive, especially racing harts.
i don't know about you guys...this is just my opinion i think white rims will look good on just about any car........i have white rims on my car...but i'm car is white.....i still think white rims on a red car will look awsome...but as keeping in clean its hard.....you have to keep in clean or the brake dust will basically eat your color...(leave stain)....but yea...go for it..i'm sure it will look great...but maintain your rims
Hey 02CarbonCivic , could you post a link to the red civic with white rims on wingswest.com because i looked at the site and couldnt find the pic, and i have been thinking about getting some 17" white Konig Tantrums on my red ex. Thanks in advance....
<< Man wtf?.... it used to be this car... it had white konig traffiks ... anyway sorry I couldnt find it....RED CIVIC >>
Thanks for tryin man, I havent seen a 01' or 02' red civic with white rims yet, so if anyone here has any pics, it would be great if you could email them to me at Wrestler1205@msn.com or post them here....It would be appreciated thanks....
white rims look sweet on any color civic, so what if you have to clean them more than silver, isn't lovin our cars what it's all about....if you must be lazy then just change your front pads to aftermarket pads like greenstuff, which spit out virtually no brake dust... the rest of the sh*t comes of easy...hey carbon, sometimes things that look the best require the most amount of work....don't worry about the work part, it turns into fun when you know your car looks as sweet as hell...(I should write inspirational self help books or something!)....
sorry, but i can't help you with pics, i think you already know how sweet it is.......

white rims are good on COLORED but not so good on REGULAR color cars....... wut i meant by colored means da any kind of colored car... ie green/red/blue/white. the regular colors are black/silver which in my opinion looks good mostly in silver/chrome rims. however keep in mind dat maintenance is a biatch, but this is for all the rims
