Looks more refined and a bit larger than the previous version. Also judging from the GTi platform, there's been a nice power increase in their engines, hopefully reliability will be better too.

I am not feeling the sedan, but I do like their hatch. The next gen will look awesome, esp. the GTi. That looks like it merged into the rest of the compact market with some Corolla/Civic/whatever compact here look that is different from the outgoing one.

Mm, the 3 is nice.

As for the VW though, the new Golf has a nice front, reminds me of the direction Audi (read: VW subsid.) is taking with it's new A6.
