Also with those loud "riceburner" exhausts single vtecs tend to lose compression.. Easy way to blow a piston or two

Voiceofid is an unknown quantity at this point
when i was purchasing an exhaust for the civic, it was the 2nd quietest exhaust we knew next to the dc sports dual route thing and the exhaust was from a group buy here for 300 dollars. now, 2 years later, i find it mildly annoying, it buzz along with no power what so ever, if i had my stock exhaust, i would put it back on.

on the other hand, the mr2 have a blitz nur spec and straight 3 inch turbo back, and that thing is LOUD. the exhaust echos off buildings and sets off alarms. my friend can hear me in campus while i drive from one side of the campus to another. the car cruises at 3750rpm at 75mph and it sounds like i am in 1st tapping the redline. i wish i got a silencer...

I got my stock exhaust off my car, I can ship it then you can ship yours when you get mine.

I prefer a quiet exhaust. Makes my spool and BOV louder, hehe. Tanabe SRM. It was sorta loud before boost. But quieted down afterward. Still idles the same. It's pretty much still boom boom boom boom at idle. I likey. If you want something loud, get a skunk2 exhaust.

It's not going to cause it to lose compression. Exhaust has nothing to do with compression. Compression loss is due to: Cracked head, worn valve seats, cracked valves, bent valves, sticking valves, blown HG, warped deck, worn piston rings, etc, etc, - problems in the head and/or shortblock.

n00bs

Maybe you were thinking about backpressure.....but yet again, still unrelated to anything internal.
