It's nice and everything, but I think the whole CF thing is really getting old. I mean a CF hood is cool, maybe even CF plated wheels...but all over the car is just Gawdy...imho
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

It's a lot of carbon fiber, but the idea of carbon fiber is to make the car light.
IMO, a carbon fiber hood or a piece here or there, isn't going to make a difference. For the $300 dollars for a good hood, I would just assume add $200 and get a small N2O shot, that will make the car go much faters. Or if you want to handle, then get some better springs or something. BY making the whole car out of, he may have saved some major wieght though, hence making that carbon fiber worth it.
The problem is, he replaced body panels, and body panel on a NSX are not that heavy to start with and could be replaced much cheaper with fiberglass. The ideal place for carbon fiber is in the actaul structre of the car, the cub frame and what not could be replaced with honey comb carbon fiber frame, that is real wieght reduction.
None the less, that car is crazy, don't really care for the wing though.
