the DC5R is lighter than the EP3R ... (1190 kg vs. 1210 kg) and has slightly more HP (220 ps vs. 215 ps ... as noted on Honda Japan's website).
The DC5R also has a larger aftermarket than the EP3R. The factory tires on the EP3R are 205/45/17 vs. the DC5R's 215/45/17 ... the wheel well is smaller on the EP3R, so it cannot have tires that are as wide.
EP3R brakes (as far as I know) are not made by brembo ... the front calipers are stamped "Type R" and are also much smaller.
The Recaros in the EP3R are not as nice as the DC5R
anything else I missed?
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

I think that was a confusion... in the orginal post you wrote ITR, that means Integra Type-R and to some they might be thingking only in US terms, hence the DC2R, maybe not knowing that the RSX is called the Integra to the rest of the world (or maybe not just connecting what you where expressing). Anyone who says the DC5R is not as good as the EP3R is on crack.

lighter wheels, better recaros, almost the same HP (98 spec - 210 hp, vs. 215 ps [or 212 hp])... brakes are similar ... much lighter chassis, MUCH better suspension. As far as straight line goes, the transmission is the only thing that gives the EP3R an edge over the DC2R, in my opinion ... if the EP3R came equipped with a 4.4 final drive, then it would be a driver's race. DC2R would own the EP3R on a track
EK9 vs. DC2R would've been a better comparison
