here are my questions and please give me information.

1. wut are the bright lights called, like wut brand are good/ reliable..... i want the headlight, parking lights, signal lights. im not bothering about the rear lights because im not gonna touch them.

2. are they easy to install? where do u buy them and how much?

3. pros and cons

thanks alot and its really moronic to ask these questions but i know we have to start learning about them somehow, da reason why im asking is dat ive learned to like them and im trying to get infos ASAP. ive tried doing da search and i believe i have read every post regarding headlights, and searched thru the member's rides info but im not contented, and i need more info.

when u say bright lights, i'm assuming u mean superwhites or plasma blue bulbs. piaas are the most expensive and most ppl on this site would agree that they are reliable (maybe not a few). anyway, it all depends on how much u wanna spend. just make sure the buy the correct wattage so u won't blind ppl or blow fuses. installation is ez. just look in ur manual.

the standard wattage of the factory bulbs are 55W=Low beam/65W=high Beam

Well......... the really bright Lights are of the Luxury cars.... they have a Xenon mixture in the bulbs, also called HID (High Intensity Discharge)...... we can get "Look alike" bulbs.. but they don't even compare..... You can usually tell "fake" HID lights and "real" HID lights

Here's a link for the full set on ebay. And I know the person who's auctioning them, so bid with confidence from him. Installation takes all of 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how detexerous you are and how small your hand are . Consult your owners manuel for installation procedures.

ok lemme get this straight, there are different kind of lights..... xenon,plasma..... etc?

i tried to get some more information but its just not good enough.
where did you guys got the bulbs and how much were they? well there are really 3 different bulbs in our car right? the headlight, the parking light (that small bulb in da middle circle), and the signal light (that bulb under the amber). well i dont have any clear headlights so i think all i need is to buy a headlight bulb, and parking bulb....... right?

HELP ME OUT on my original questions please....

Plasma Xenon they're all basically the same thing, and you could've replaced all the lights on your car for $40 if you went to that auction. They're are HID lights and those are what Plasma, Xenon are copying in a cheaper format. Buy Plasma, or Xenon's from the that person on ebay and you can't go wrong.

SpdRcrChk-
Anytime, those are what I have on my car and I love them to death. I had some Eaglelites before, but they didn't put out nearly as much lights as these ones do. I hope you enjoy them as much as me

They are HID's and they are only for your headlights, not for turn signals and parking lights. The only choice for the signal and parking lights would be hyper whites.

2. are they easy to install? where do u buy them and how much?

HID's There they are, it should be very easy to install.

3. pros and cons

They are bright ! They are EXPENSIVE !

Those on the ebay auction are NOT HID's ! They are just cheap look a likes that can loose thier "white" look over time. As someone said before you really can tell the difference between HID's and the look a likes.

real HID's need a seperate ballast to power them. if you are just getting a bulb, it is not a HID.

The bulbs for the headlights are the H4 size. Front turn signals are 7443, and front parking lights are 194.

You can buy upgraded halogen H4's, like CATZ Galaxy White bulbs, or PIAA (Super Plasma, Platinum White, Xtreme White), these types of replacement bulbs should cost you about 60 for the pair.

Or, if you want true HID, you can pick up an H4-HID conversion kit for around 500-600 bucks

I personally originally had a set of CATZ Galaxy whites, which I have recently replaced with a set of Acura CL HIDs.

The other front bulbs, the 7443's and 194's, you can get in a lot of styles/colors. I have some PIAA Xtreme White bulbs, all around/inside my car. I order them all from AutoBulbDepot.

thanks alot for the responses, it helped me learned alot, but i was aware that someone said dat they burn out because of something to do with the wattage and it does not match/ too high for the harness..... someone even said that you have to get a new setup for the harness to accomodate a higher wattage with these bulbs.....

so wut should i get, there are totally bunch of PIAAS out there and i don't have any idea wut specific kind of bulb to get..... well i learned from 0100010 the sizes of the headlights H4, parking lights 7443, and signal light 194.
does dat mean that any bulb i see on the internet that have these sizes will fit on my car, it wouldnt matter if they are Super Plasma, Platinum White, Xtreme White as long as they on those sizes they should be alright ??????????

i appreciate all the posts, please bear with me.

In the HID kit's they have the proper wiring harnesses and balasts to fit your car so its almost plug n go. Now you are aware that PIAA's are NOT HID's right? They are just blue colored blubs. As far as the size yes just look on the net for those sizes binary guy gave you, as for the type i have no clue there..
