thats rediculous they didnt even upgrade brakes. that car doesnt seem like they did enough work on it for it to be stable. id buy it just for the motor and sell the dum cavalier

i dont think the acura v6 is worth it... 260 hp maybe from a v6 when u can k20 swap it and mod it for cheaper to get that much hp with less weight... or u could spend the same time and money to put an s2k engine

If they can squeeze a Cobra engine into a Focus this thing didn't seem too far off, I can't imagine going anywhere in a straight line on the Salt Flats w. that thing, no upgraded brakes, stock interior (ie: no roll cage) and an aluminum fuel cell all of 3 inches or so off the ground (judging from pics...).

Still though, thats a hell of a swap.

well they made mistakes.

1. chain driven cam

2. 454? in a Cavalier

3. little suspension work (tires will just smoke)

4. the fuel cell! are you stupid?

5. won't meet emisions

true but you can get that torque out of a k20 if u do it right and then it will accel faster than the v6
the only upside of the v6 i can think of is a lower idle rpm and a smoother running motor
